Illuminating the Downtown Library
In partnership with Avista and the Consolidated Electrical Distribution (CED), the Downtown Library has replaced more than 2,900 bulbs within the branch and safely recycled all of the old bulbs. Newly installed LED bulbs have improved light quality and significantly reduced the amount of wattage used by the library, saving 20 watts per bulb for a total of 58,000 watts!
We appreciate our partnerships with Avista and CED to help do our part to save energy.
