Hoopla is a one-stop spot for movies, television shows, eBooks, audiobooks, and even comics. Simply create an account online with a valid email address, your library card number, and PIN. Within moments you’ll be able to borrow movies such as The Imitation Game or The Walking Dead comic book series. You can also search for kid-friendly content at the touch of a button. You can download up to ten titles a month for free.

So don’t forget your Spokane Public Library card for this upcoming holiday season. With all the great resources it offers, it’s the best gift yet!

Finding your next book just got easier!

new_searchThe Spokane Public Library catalog is debuting a new resource for our customers that increases accessibility to the library catalog. Customers can now use popular search engines, like Siri, Google, Bing, and Yahoo to find library resources!

Previously library catalog records could not be found on search engines because library records cannot be read by engine crawlers. However, with the implementation of a new catalog translator software, the library catalog is now accessible on search engines!

Be sure to ask a library staff for more information.
